Ryder sat peacefully on the floor of his room, trying his hardest to remember the last time he had won a game of solitaire. If he remembered correctly, it was months ago. So what was he doing sitting here, playing this stupid game for if he never won? Instead of setting the game up properly like he had been all afternoon, Ryder left the cards sitting on his bedroom floor the way he had been for hours and walked out of the Dio cabin. It seemed a lot quieter now and oddly enough, he found himself missing the loud and chaotic demigods that had found refuge there. Ryder found himself wandering around camp with no real destination in mind. Maybe he’d stop by the Big House and run into another demigod, he thought to himself when suddenly he bumped into someone. Maybe I’ll run into someone now, he thought to himself. “Oh, hey Sarah!” He stated as he looked up and realized he recognized the blond. “I’m sorry, I was really paying attention.”
Sarah had been walking around camp most of the day, looking for someone to hang out with, but it seemed like most people were locked up in their cabins. Keeping her eyes trained on the ground, she kicked a little pebble around. Maybe someone will turn up soon, she thought to herself. Suddenly, she felt someone bump into her, knocking her back a little. “I’m sorry, I was- oh hey, Ryder!” She said, smiling at the curly-haired demigod. “There’s no need to apologize, I wasn’t paying much attention.” She shrugged. “I’m surprised to see you outside today! Not many people have been out and about lately, it seems, so.”
